What is Autoscope Mobile Service?
At Autoscope, we understand that your time is valuable. So, let us come to you! As an added convenience for you, we introduce our Autoscope Mobile Shop. At the comfort of your home or office, we will bring all your automotive service needs to you.
What services does your mobile shop offer?
Our Mobile Shop has the capabilities to perform all factory required maintenance services and more. Available services include:
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire services-flat repair, rotate and balance, and installation,
- Air filters
- Cabin Filters
- Coolant Services
- Brake Fluid Services
- A/C services and recharge
How does it work?
Simply request an appointment by providing your name, address, phone number, ideal appointment time and your service needs.
- One of our service consultants will contact you soon to assist with providing a fair and accurate estimate for all your service needs and schedule your Mobile Service appointment at a time that is convenient for you.
- Autoscope Mobile Shop is available 4 days a week, Tuesday-Friday from 8:15am to 4pm.
- 2 days prior to your appointment we will contact you to confirm your appointment. Once confirmed, we will order all needed parts to complete your services while onsite. We arrive fully prepared for all your needs!!
- Our friendly mobile technician will meet you at your front door or office at the time of your appointment.
- During your service, we will perform a comprehensive multi-point safety inspection to ensure that your vehicle is in top condition. Our service consultants will stay in touch with you throughout your service.
- Payment for all mobile services are handled remotely, you NEVER have to leave your home!!
Is there a fee associated with using your Mobile Shop?
Autoscope would love to invite you to give it a try. For your first mobile service appointment, we will waive the mobile service convenience fee valued at $45. All mobile service visits after the first in include a $45 mobile service convenience fee.
Can you service my vehicle at my apartment?
Yes! All maintenance and basic services can be done in your parking lot if your apartment management allows. If it is not allowed, we can meet you at your home and take it to a nearby secure location to complete the services needed.
My Homeowners Association does not allow vehicle repairs in driveways or on the street. Can you still service my vehicle?
Yes! Mention this while you are scheduling your appointment. Our technician will meet you at your home and accommodate your service appointment by taking your vehicle to a nearby secure location for your services needed.
I have multiple vehicles; can I schedule your Mobile Shop to work on all of them during one visit?
Yes! Let our service consultant know this while scheduling your appointment and we will book the required time for each vehicle consecutively.
Do you have a shop where I can bring my car?
We have three locations throughout Dallas- Park Cities, Plano, and White Rock That are also ready to conveniently serve you. As an added convenience, if for any reason our mobile technician can not provide a service needed once he has arrived, we will happily provide our valet service. An Autoscope representative will come get your vehicle and drop off a loaner vehicle upon availability.
Our shop hours at all three locations are Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm
What if there is inclement weather in the area?
Weather can sometimes be unpredictable. We arrive equipped to work in light rain, snow, and wind. If there is heavy rain, snow, wind, or lightning in your area, one of our representatives will contact you promptly to reschedule your mobile service at a time and location that is convenient for you.
Am I supposed to tip the mechanic?
Absolutely not! Our mobile technician is an extension of our Autoscope network of shops, there are no tips required or accepted by our mobile technician. Instead, please leave us a review containing a few words on how you think we did.
I have a check engine light. Can you diagnose that for me?
Since our mobile technician is available for all your routine maintenance and minor service needs, we do not run vehicle diagnosis at your home or office. Typically, these can take unknown amounts of time that may cause our mobile technician to run late to your appointment or others.
How late should I cancel an appointment?
We send an appointment confirmation 48 hours from your scheduled appointment time. Since we do not charge a cancellation fee, we would ask that you give us at least a 72-48 hour notice so that we can fill your time slot.
What if the mechanic is late?
We ask that you allow a 2-hour arrival window to account for additional time required on previous job or traffic. We do apologize if this is the case. If you have not heard from one of our Autoscope representatives after the allowed time, please give us a call and we will be happy to help.
How do I pay for the services?
After the services are performed, your service consultant will send you a link for credit card payment. Our mobile technicians do not accept cash or check.
